12th October 2012 Yet again the service, quality and excellent customer service of Laura at Four Seasons has proven itself. The recipient of the bunch was ecstatic, the entire office was jealous and the wee 'bonus' posie is always such a lovely touch! Well done Laura and we will most certainly continue to recommend your services!!
23rd January 2014 My fiance and I had used Laura for a few years, on and off, for bouquets for friends and family. As such we believed she would be capable of organizing the flowers for our wedding.
Unfortunately this couldn't be further from the truth. One month out from our wedding she just stopped contacting us and when I called to find out if everything was ok, she launched into a rant and told me that she would no longer be doing the flowers for our wedding.
I really do not recommend Laura to anyone. Some friends have had bad experiences in the past with them asking small questions and then being shouted on the shop floor, but we wrote these off as the friends having probably done something wrong. Turns out it was our mistake, Laura is not someone we recommend doing business with. There are plenty of other florists in Wellington who run their businesses without launching into rants at customers.

15th February 2013 Ordered flowers for my wife on Valentines Day at 9.40am - when ordering tried to ask about sunflowers or other large flowers for my young kids as a treat but she was too busy to help me with this request. On arriving back from work no flowers, no phone call to me to say they would be late, tried to call the florist from 4pm onwards - busy constantly or off the hook - i tried 20-30times. Checked my visa and no transactions, brought flowers from supermarket then a knock at the door at 7pm, ahh flowers arrived, sent courier away with flowers and checked visa which had now been debited. Found owners mobile from this site and left vm telling how angry I was - no call back. Call owner the next day - NO APOLOGY at all but was going to do refund. Do yourself a favour and buy from another florist or go to Countdown around the corner. Would never buy again from this florist and would not recommend to anyone.

11th February 2013 My partner and I are a professional couple who are extremly excited about getting marry in April 2014 and are trying to work out budget for what we want. I had two photographs i wanted to show a florist and a couple questions, One were the the flower real or fake? do you think they would be avalible for the season we are getting married? and a rough idea on how much something like that would be? We went into the four seasons florist to ask for advice as the shop itself inside looks lovely with some beautiful flowers. I normally favour smaller business as i find the customer service is so much better and you are treated like a person rather then a dollar sign. Unfortunatly we didn't feel this to be true at the four seasons florist.
We patientIy waited for assistance, as another lady was being delt with. When we were greeted, I had one photo ready that i wanted to show her and explained we were getting married and wanted some advice and quickly tried to ask if the flowers in the picture were real or fake? We were asked "when are you getting married?" We replied, next year. All interest in us as a customer was then lost, we were told it was to far away and she "wouldn't touch it", she glanced at the picture shaking her head responding with "they're dipped, i dont have time for this, i would prefer to concentrate on valentines day" and she just walked away, Didn't even say goodbye, just walked into the back of her shop, leaving us standing there thinking "what just happen?" She didn't give us a chance. We have never been treated so rudely and with such disrespect. This took place on the 11/02/13.
If she had said something along the lines of - im extremely busy with valentine day at the moment but if you would like to come in after such date I would be more then happy to take the time answer any questions. I would have been more then happy and understanding of that, to be fair i would have been happy with a goodbye. I understand its a "Small business" and it is a busy time of year for them, it seems to me she was are under a lot of pressure and unable to cope with the demands of valentines day and unfortunatly it was taken out on myself and my partner. We left the shop feeling like unwelcome time waster, unappreciated and unworthy of her help or advice. It makes you question, if this is how you deal with pressure how would you deal with the pressures of getting flowers ready for a wedding? On a first impression i would certainly not return and would certanly not want to do business where the customer service is rude, abrupt, thoughtless and unfriendly. My advice to you is, treat people how you want to be treated, no matter who they are or how busy you are. I would just like you to take the time and imagin if you had come into my small business and i had treated you like this how would you feel walking away? What impression it would have left on you with?

23rd September 2011 Cannot rave highly enough about this florist and her gorgeous creations!!
The most attractive bunches/bouquets around and at amazingly great prices. If only the WCC didn't take the doorside parking away which hasn't helped her business. Please, please stay in Wellington, Four Seasons, as we love your flowers and have been a very satisfied customer for 4 years. The recipients of my flowers love them so much they end up buying from there too.

5th September 2011 Have dealt with this florist a couple times very happily. I was told in person she would let us (our company) have an account, as I was very happy with her bunches. I had popped in to order a large bunch of flowers for my mother who had just had a triple bypass, I had asked if we could set up an account for our businss and was told I dont usually do this but I will because I trust/like you. Now
I've just got off the phone after placing 4 $50 orders plus delivery. And wa then phoned back and asked for payment by credit card, I explained how I had set up an account, (we had received an invoice from her before) was told she didnt like me being pushy by asking to use our account. and was hung up on!! I called back as I wanted to clarify that we did have an account and was told she wouldnt honor our account and to take our businss elsewhere!! Her rudeness was astonding and completly uncalled for, this lady is a nightmare to deal with, cannot be trusted!

2nd August 2012 This is Laura, the owner of Four Seasons Florist. I have only just come across these reviews and would like to address some of the comments made by gurlstar_101.
This lady is the owner of a business in Waikanae, and had previously used my services. Although it is not my normal practice to send invoices to people outside the Wellington Central region, I did, but the lady did not pay me until I sent out many reminder invoices and made several phone calls to her. So it was a surprise that she expected me to invoice her for $260 (inclusive of delivery), when she hadn't previously paid for outstanding flowers that she had booked. This is not acceptable for my small business, and her right to hold an account would be based on her credit rating with my business.
My customers are highly valued and appreciated, but it is not in my best interest to retain business with people that refuse to pay for their flowers in a reasonable timeframe.
However, I would also like to take this opportunity to thank reviewer ElleBJ for her kind words, and will continue to strive to provide the finest quality of flowers and service to the public that I can offer.
