Also a colleague put her business card in the jar, she won a work shout so that was even better, so down there again on Friday as there are nibbles for eight people and a couple of bottles of wine. Awesome.
Located on Hood St is CBD Corner Pub. It a great place to drink and dine in the sun or you can retreat inside by the fire on the colder winter nights. From after work drinks, tasty lunches through to late night partying with a tempting menu, quality wine and beer selection - CBD has it all!
21st June 2011 asked for the burger which mentioned homemade pattie. when I recieved my burger the pattie was definetly not homemade...Not impressed, good service though..

6th January 2008 I was lucky enough to win a CBD bar tab from More FM. As I work for a sober driver company and was going to be working New Years Eve night, a couple of girlfriends and I went in on the Sunday before N.Y.E. We enjoyed some tasty snacks -esp enjoyed teh CBD platter - some Jim Beams, some pool and lots of laughs.
Was a great atmosphere, and fun spotting different Kiwiana items around the place. Probably wouldn't have gone without the voucher to give us a good head start as its not something I do these days, but thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Sam (behind the bar) was friendly and helpful - oh and cute too ;-)
All in all a good time was had by the three of us and would definitely recommend it. Esp for a few quiet ones on a Sunday :-)
