31st July 2011 Nice large clubhouse but these people don't look after nature well. There is oil in the water and a strong smell of paint in the air. The view is beautiful, however it is wrecked by the sound of sanding so loud that when you leave your ears are still ringing. The children who play in the street are kind and friendly which ironic as the club president is the quite the contrare. If you have a party here, be prepared to pay tons, and then get gatecrashed at 8.30pm by men wearing fancy uniforms telling you to be quiet (I went to a wedding there on one occasion and my husband often went there to launch his boat - he now goes the extra distance to Gulf Harbour where he is treated better).
I would love to give this place a higher rating, but untill the Boater's realise they are polluting the area with boat petrol and paint, and untill I am talked to politely when I next go there (if I ever go back there) 2 1/2 stars is all you get from me.
