28th December 2013 We stayed in a 2 Bedroom unit at the Kingwood Motel Nov 2013 and it was a sweet little motel that was spotlessly clean you could put your make up on using the stainless steel toaster!!!!! The shower base was stainless steel and amazingly so shiny. The beds were very comfy and it was so clean and spacious with a full kitchen. Very quiet considering it is located on the main highway and a short walk into the town centre with lovely little shops and a great supermarket.. The owners were lovely and friendly would recommend staying here.

9th July 2012 The staff at the Kingswood motel were really helpful in squeezing into the motel on what was a surprisingly busy weekend in Waimate, although that did mean we had to change rooms between the two nights we stayed. Nonetheless, the motel was quiet, clean, tidy and well presented.Their premium room, which we stayed in on the second night, was really new and exactly what you would expect from a modern motel. Kingswood is definitely the place to stay in Waimate.
