Taggart Earthmoving Ltd is a dynamic, diversified contracting company where today it employs over 70 staff active in New Zealand with Constituent divisions representing a broad range of products and services in the roading, quarrying, transporting, construction and forest industry, and hold strong positions in their respective markets.

Over this time Taggart Earthmoving has gained a strong reputation for quality workmanship, reliability and service beyond the expectation of most.

The company was founded in Christchurch in 1953 by Ron and Margaret Taggart.

Our general contracting division is strong in subdivision development, road construction, site works and general contracting.

… Transporting
Our fleet of four transporters and a tow behind trailer enable us to cart machinery up to 75 tonnes and gives us the ability to locate machinery onsite when required. Having a fleet or transporters enables us to shift multiple items of plant quickly and efficiently thus minimizing downtime for the client.

For the longer shifts or the larger shifts we do like a bit of notice so that permits and backloads can be arranged. The better organized you are the better organized we can be so please help us to help you.
