The Wharf is a fully licensed cafe, bar and restaurant in Gisborne.
It is located in the historic No. 1 shed beside Gisborne Harbour.
The menu is an eclectic one combining overseas and New Zealand influences. It is supported by an extensive wine list with an emphasis on local and New Zealand labels.
Mains range in price from $25 to $40 and include dishes such as seared salmon fillet, scotch fillet of beef and vegetarian falafel.
The Wharf is open seven days from 8:00am until late for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with breakfast served from 8:00am, lunch from 11:30am and dinner from 5:30pm.
1st September 2010 A decent place to eat. Nice clean facility and good views with an outdoor area to enjoy in the warmer months. Good place to enjoy some food and good conversation with company. Food is good, but takes a while and if the place is busy be prepared to wait!
