29th November 2010 Large buffet style takeaway/restaurant. fair prices, large container $11.00 or all you can eat plus dessert $18 in the restaurant. overall good tasty food my favourites in particular are the lemon chicken and rice noodles. has everything from fried rice to chips, wontons, wedges, spring rolls, so family friendly. service is rather fast, and is across the road from mcdonalds so is easy to find. I enjoy eating at golden spring.
21st August 2012 We purchased 12 dimsims, 1 fish, 1 scoop of chips, 1/2 dozen wontons and a medium sized combination fried rice. The ONLY thing that was half decent was the dimsims. Other than that, the fish had such a thick, gluey batter, was under cooked and had a very gluggy floury smell. The chips were under cooked and had no seasoning, this meant they were sloppy and greasy. The wontons were not at all crispy and had a filling the size of an old five cent piece. The fried rice had in total about ten pieces of meat that seemed like it had been soaked in MSG for days. In total we spent $40 on this meal and after trying to eat it felt let-down and ripped off. Thanks for nothing.

31st August 2010 This is a fine restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The food, so mouthwatering, was deliciously addictive. It hits the spot and you will feel it later especially if you had a buffet as one serving is not enough and you go up for seconds and possibly thirds before enjoying a nice dessert with the kiwi classic: a pavlova with kiwifruit, ice-cream and fruit salad - the ultimate kiwi combo to wrap dinner up.
The service was good and the employees were well dressed and tidy.
I think they could improve on hygiene as I believe I can recall a few food stains on plates
but all-in-all I would recommend this restaurant to all whom have an uncontrollable appetite for Chinese.
