13th December 2008 Went there today seeking a small part for an obsolete oven. They guy who served me (along with someone hidden out the back) was fantastic. Looked up the part, found a current price, advised on delivery (ages away), advised on alternate possible sources, then went out the back to see if something else would do, found what looked like a match, let me take it home on sale or return...and eureka! it was perfect. All with a smile and good humour. Fantastic customer-focused service.
20th September 2018 I am very disappointed about the service received from Saxon. They could not find a fault with my washing machine and still charged the call out fee ($98). The guy did not have a computer to attach to check for faults, he only checked the filters and the cables. He said if the problem persists, they would need to change the electric board of the machine, which would cost around $600. I did not receive a report or an invoice until I requested it from Saxon days later. When I called to say that the problem is still there, I was told that the guy would come back the next day and check the machine again. No one turned up or called me the next day until I called the office. Then the lady in the office told me that I needed to pay for them picking up the machine and pay for another assessment fee in their workshop (about $150). I was told by Saxon's manager that they are not a "charity" (in fact she asked me if I can read the word "charity" anywhere in the title Saxon appliances) and she was very rude to me on the phone as I asked her to please give me a discount for the machine pick-up or take the first call out fee into account. She also said that lots of people ask her for discounts, and if people can't afford paying to have their appliances fixed, that wasn't her problem.
I got a different appliance expert (Cotters) out to have a look at the machine. The guy found the fault within 5 minutes - it was a blocked pipe. He also run a computer program to check for any other faults. My machine didn't need taking away from my home and I won't need to pay anything for 2 weeks until everyone is happy the machine is in working order!!! STAY AWAY FROM SAXON!!!

16th April 2018 Very Poor Experience.
I organised Saxons to come look at my dishwasher for which I gave them the error code it was displaying. The technician came around, was there for five minutes before advising he didn't have a manual or any parts so would need to take it away. I was charged $110 for this.
A few days later I called for an update, only to be told by the woman, they hadn't even looked at it, and couldn't provide and ETA. Over a week later, I received an estimate for an additional $300 to repair. I replied stating I did not want to proceed and could we organise a time for this to be dropped back. No Response.
After numerous emails and calls, I got through to a girl who said I needed to either pay to fix, or they would dispose of the machine. I then got put on with her supervisor who advised I also had the option of picking up the parts they had dismantled but they would not reassemble. When I complained that I was not made aware they would not reassemble if I did not proceed, she told me 'Any ADULT would know that we would need to pull it apart to find out what is wrong'. Of course, however I would expect them to reassemble if I did not want to go ahead with the work. I wouldn't expect a mechanic give me a quote for work but say I could only take my car back they fixed it, or if I wanted it back in pieces....
Still have not sorted this issue however I know I will not be using Saxons again in the future.

2nd July 2009 Trying to find a replacement drive belt for my old Savaday 405 drier. Happenend to call just after closing (5pm) and their answerphone politely told me their hours, then hung up. Would have been nice if they took a message so they could look up the part number the next day, call me back etc. But we'll see what they are like tomorrow when I call them... N
