10th April 2012 I went to Adlers to have a glass door replaced on a credenza. Their price was very reasonable, and I was impressed with the friendly service and craftsmanship. I would happily recommend them.

19th March 2012 Hi Adler Glass & Glazing have never done a job for a John Bowden but I have spent so much time searching this site to respond to the negative reveiw written by John in the appropriate forum , that I am writing this to get our voice also heard on this matter ,Adler Glass & Glazing policy is that we do not give phone quotes as work required almost always differs from information collected from clients over the phone instead we off phone estimates which if the information collected hasnt changed significantly the final price will be within 15% of the estimate as per New Zealand Law .

14th February 2012 I myself have also had poor service from this company. I gave the exact size on a wooden framed window and was quoted one price. When they turned up (LATE) to fix the window the glazier demanded payment, but the price had gone up $30. When i queried this i was told that was the standard price for the size. Yet i had been given a different one by the person i spoke to on the phone. The glazier became very rude and said he would take the window back out and still charge me for his time. As I felt intimidated I paid the changed price

28th October 2011 I asked Adlers Glass to fix my broken window. I called them on Sunday and the man who answered the call said he can do it on the day at normal rate even though it was Sunday. The glazier came to my house on time, very friendly and professional and he completed the job quickly and cleaned up the place afterwards. I called other glazing companies and Adlers Glass was the cheapest and glazier was availabe earlier than 4 other glazing companies that I called that day! i definitely recommend them to everyone :)

12th January 2011 Avoid this place at all costs!
We came to Adlers glass to have our mirror repaired after it broke in the earthquake. However, after we picked the mirror up we noticed that the new mirror glass had been cut on an angle and as a result it did not fit correctly onto the wooden base of the mirror.
We rang Adlers glass to let them know that we were not completely happy with the new mirror. After all, we felt it was reasonable to expect that the glass would be cut straight. The person on the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful and hung up on us! We rang up a second time the next day and although the person was again extremely rude, we convinced her that we could bring the mirror in again for them to look at.
About a week later, we took the mirror back to Adlers glass. There, we were confronted by a man who was unbelievably rude. He refused to take a second look at the mirror and threatened us with a defamation law suit should we write any negative reviews about Adlers glass. (Of course reviews are protected from defamation lawsuits under the defamation act, since they express opinions.) He then proceeded to throw us off his premises.
We were astounded and could not believe that we had been treated in this way. After all, we had simply given feedback about their work and asked for them to take another look at the mirror with us. Instead of providing any reasonable response to this, we were treated more rudely than any of us can ever remember being treated. We were intimidated about writing reviews, hung up on over the phone and thrown out of their shop! We recommend avoiding this place at all costs. In our opinion, the low standard of the work we experienced and the way we were subsequently treated was extremely upsetting.
