10th October 2014 I recently purchased a Haier fridge. Once installed I realised the fridge has visible condensation running down the back panel, which collects through a drip hole at the base. I advised the retailer (Smiths City Rotorua) that I'm not happy with this system - as I've not seen a fridge operate this way for many years. Their response was to fob me off the Fisher & Paykel service. F&P service took 5 days to visit, provided the technician with the wrong address and were unable confirm beforehand what time they would visit on the allocated day (too bad that I have to work for a living). The technician said the fridge just operates this way so ultimately, Smith's City and F&P showed no interest and complete apathy that I'm unhappy with the purchase and no follow up after the service call. I will not consider F&P products again and would not recommend the products or service to anyone.
