Company Profile
We are the company that delivers electricity to Marlborough power consumers on behalf of the energy retailers in this region.
That makes us responsible for managing and maintaining Marlborough's network of power lines, power poles, transformers and substations - all of which are used to help deliver electricity from the national grid to end-users. Our network supplies approximately 23,500 electricity users via more than 3,000 km of power lines and is maintained by Marlborough Lines Contracting.
Marlborough Lines network extends to some very isolated areas across the region, including the extremities of the Marlborough Sounds, which can only be reached by boat or helicopter.
