In 1983, our principal Ron McQuilter, CFE was among the first private investigators to begin work in New Zealand.

Ron has served in the Strathclyde Police. In 1982 he fell in love with a girl from Tauranga and together they travelled to New Zealand in 1983. Within one month Ron was working as a private investigator in Auckland. He quickly gained an impressive client base, many of which remain clients and friends to this day.

Ron is the current Chairman of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Investigators and is the current President of the Auckland Branch, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. In November 2009 he was awarded the IBANZ Insurance Investigator of the year. He has given expert fraud investigation evidence in the Auckland High Court. In December 2008 he travelled to London and worked for a month alongside the Metropolitan Police to solve the disappearance of a New Zealander.
