FPIS was established in 1989 on behalf of the industry to provide the services previously available from the Insurance Council and the Fire Service. Up to then certification of sprinklers and alarms were done by the organisations. Industry recognised the need to undertake there services and have proven self regulation of our industry through FPIS is the best and most consistent method of maintaining standard.
