i have been to valentines to many times this year so i find there buffet a bit boring.. i would change the steak they use on the bbq as its so tough and full of gristle, change the butter chicken to any other Indian dish, get a chef who can cook chicken,, they have a impressive looking rotisserie but they overcook the chicken so it's dry and hard to swallow, last i would get rid of the pokies machines,, it's supposed to be a family restaurant, over all i give valentines a 8 out of 10 rating for food and a 9 rating for friendly helpful staff

the two stars are awarded only for the friendly staff they were delightful. As for the buffet, it was very disappointing. we were a party of nine there on the 15th of December 2013 7:45pm second sitting to celebrate my son's birthday. Some of the party had never been to Valentines before and were really looking forward to their first visit. The hot food was cold, there was no steam coming from the buffet servers like there usually is, the presentation and the quality of the food was a major let down, half empty dishes throughout the buffet from the first sitting. Usually before the second sitting at a buffet the dishes are refreshed with both hot and cold food. One of the party has hand delivered a letter to the restaurant outlining the concerns we had on the night. This was the first time I had been since the revamp of the restaurant and I must say I personally don't like how you now walk through the bar area to go in to the restaurant and how there is no longer any table cloths on the tables, it has taken away the nice ambience of the restaurant. Maybe if we had gone to the first sitting we may not have had such a disappointing meal.

Have been dining at Valentines for over 11 years now and love it. Kids especially, can't get enough of Valentines. It is a must when my mum visits from South Africa.

What a great place - eat all you want - thanks! always make sure i have starved for the week before. Good variety of food, prepared well. Although this is not the first choice we make as a family it is a favorite and make it a fun night out for the family.

When I have eaten here, most recently for lunch last month, it was fine. What you would expect really. Some of the salads were uninspiring but other then that we enjoyed ourselves and the service was great.

The shrimps I think had been frozen then thawed out which seemed to spoil the taste. You know what you're getting & it's a family fruendly price. The Mushroom soup was great.

it was great going with a crowd - which consisted of all ages - everyone was catered for and it was more of a variety than other valentines that i have been too - good service

Used to be a really good family buffet restaurant..That was back around 2005. But now the quality of food is very disappointing. Oysters is still served though...

We felt that this restaurant has really slipped with the quality of their food. A lot of it was dried out, and not tasty. Sadly, we left the restaurant very disappointed.
