5th April 2011 I went here for an end-of season sports celebration dinner and it was fantastic. We were well looked after by the staff and enjoyed delicious food. I am looking forward to a return visit!

26th August 2010 The first time I came here the food was lovely. However the second time I tried something new a beef stirfry with noodles and it was very tough, I had to ask twice for some chilli on the side as when I requested the dish served "very spicy" they must not have heard me or, didn't think I could handle spicy food. Hopefully if we try this restaurant again they will have improved to their old standard.

13th July 2010 We were going to go another well known Thai restaurant nearby, but it was fully booked, so I'd heard about this one and we decided to try it. It's sort of hidden down a little alleyway above a Japanese sushi bar. Don't judge this place by it's looks, because looks can be deceiving. Sure it's not flash looking and it's authentic in presentation and style, but the food was fabulous and the service was spot on - and quite often that's all that matters! It's the kind of place you can go with friends for a cheap and cheerful meal or take your parents for a quiet family chat. All they need to do is fix the lock on the ladies loo. Choice!

25th April 2009 This used to be Ponsonby's best kept secret, alas, their best days appear to be behind them. Dining one weeknight in late April 2009, I was shocked to find that my delicious-sounding chicken dish was served with MINCED CHICKEN. Unforgiveable in this market and expected a lot more from them. 2 stars.
