I always enjoyed going here on Saturday nights with a group of my friends its an easy place to sit around and just chat.the supreme satay is pretty delicious too and very cheap. admittedly its nothing ground breaking and the service is very average but a good cheap place to go with some friends.

The food at Southern Asian restaurant isn't anything special and the staff while friendly aren't particularly attentive. The main reason to go to Southern Asian is that its a byo that can cater to a large crowd and is convenient for heading into town for a few drinks afterwards.
