We have been to Sal Rose 3 times in the last 4 weeks simply due to the fantastic food, great cocktails, wonderful staff and service, and all for such a reasonable price. We would highly recommend anyone to try it for themselves and we have been recommending top all our friends and family. A+++++++

If you can't find a table in Kingsland, why not drive down 2min further to this country style Italian little cutie just before the Mt Albert shops. They do gluten free pizzas, great selection of pastas, good atomsphere and always plenty to choose from the weekly special menu. Also vegetarian friendly. the only downside is they have the tendancy of interupting your conversation frequently if they think you might need a "top up" on drinks or food.

Wonderful food and service, great wine list and selection of food. The pastas are divine you can taste the love in it. Pizza is great too and I have tried many. Make sure you go in hungry so you get to the deserts as they are imaginative and delicious. It may be a good idea to go with friends that will share! Try the espresso and walnut liqueur creation it is amazing. Enjoy !

I have been to this restaurant a number of times (as I am a local) and the food has never disappointed! It is appropriate for all occasions birthday celebrations, dates, dinners with friends etc. The service is wonderful - always friendly staff although I would recommend that if you want to be served quite fast to make a booking for an early evening meal because service can be quite slow around 8-9pm but always worth the wait!

Great restaurant in almost the middle of nowhere! I mean once you get in you almost forget that you are in Mt Albert. The food, staff, ambience etc is really good and generous portion size makes this the best value for money restaurant. Would recommend for any ocasson.

Have been a number of times to Sal Rose and it has never disappointed - the food is just delicious and we've always walked away thinking about what we'll choose from the menu the next time we visit! Service friendly and efficient; great atmosphere whether the restaurant is full to the brim or with just a splattering of people.

I have been to this gem of an Italian restaurant twice. It is so cozy and the food is great. I went for a friends birthday and the staff all sang to her opera style. The food was authentic and flavorsome and the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. I have since recommended it to other people who want good home cooked Italian food.

Italian the way it should be - hearty and full of flavour! Sal Rose has a great mix of traditional Italian dishes as well as a great selection of more modern pizza toppings - I recommend the Trio delish Prawns, smoked chicken, bacon, tomato, fresh herbs and mozzarella cheese. It's the perfect Friday night after work restaurant -relaxed and inviting.

Great local 'rustic' style italian. Excellent for an early dinner with young kids, they get to colour in while you get to drink a nice glass of red.

We've been to this restaurant 3 times - the atmosphere is lovely and the staff are friendly. A reasonably interesting menu, but unfortunately the meals never seem to reach expectation. They're generally a bit average in presentation and taste. My lamb rack was over salty and had too many different flavours in the one dish, my husband's fish was dry and drowned in sauce. Friends had another fish dish which was lovely, but salad was boring. Coffee was great and the limoncello superb!
