Shalom Rest Home is located in the heart of Kensington, Whangarei. It is within walking distance to the shops & park, apposite is a croquet & bowling club. Shalom is a restored 100 year old kauri villa. We have 20 residents, both men & woman.Each room is equipped wtih call alarms, under floor gas central heating, hand basins, emergency lighting, sprinklers, smoke detectors & security alarms. Staff are on duty 24 hours a day 7 days a aweek.Residents have 24 hour access to medical care. We have a house doctor, hairdresser & podiatrict who visit when required. Shalom has an air conditioned coach for regular outings.
