11th November 2010 Love love love this place. Staff are always friendly and super-helpful even at busy times. The menu is wonderful, something for everyone here. Loved the potato cakes with salmon and friends had a noodle salad thing which they said was delicious. Would recommend to anyone!

Jafa is a lovely spacious cafe where the food and coffee are every bit as good as the artwork adorning the walls. The serviceis superb. Plenty of outdoor seating and great for the kids.
27th November 2011 I love this place!! if it wasnt for the lack of parking I would be here more often (and I come from Titirangi!). Great food, great atmosphere and service - you always feel like you are a long lost friend!

2nd September 2010 Great food, great coffee and fantastic service every time. Totally laid back and unpretentious - you are always made to feel welcome.
I've never had a problem with efficiency, but in saying that I am usually there at off peak times.
My favourite meal would have to be the Salmon/Potato cakes/Eggs Bene too. YUM!!!

27th August 2010 I really like Jafa, but am not sure I can agree with previous review about efficiency. Often I've visited Jafa when it's been busy and the wait is excruciating. After many breakfast/ coffee visits, we learned to back out the door if it was busy. That said, the food here is fantastic; hence why it draws such a crowd. Favourite = potatoe cakes, spinach, eggs bene and bacon. It's a breakfast like no other!

18th July 2010 Jafa is always packed and there's good reason - it serves well-proportioned, healthy dishes and does so efficiently and with a smile. There's seating on the footpath, which, on a nice day, is bathed in sun. we weren't lucky enough to get a seat in the sun, and in fact there wasn't a table for the four of us; that was, until the staff pulled two smaller ones together and quickly and calmly rustled up four chairs for us. efficiency really is the keyword here. orders were taken quickly, coffees and food arrived fast and payment at the end was easy. with a low-key unpretentious vibe and quality fare, it's easy to see why this is a popular spot with the locals.
