10th May 2015 Turkish food has always been special. It has its own standing amongst other cultural foods. Chicken & lamb can easily be over-cooked, but not at Jaan Turkish Cafe. That's why I enjoyed its food - mix grill, Iskender, pizza, and so were bread with dips, pizza, ending with Turkish coffee & Turkish Delight.

20th September 2011 I went for dinner with my girlfriends last week and our dinners were absolutely delicious! We did not have a booking but were seated straight away in a section of the restaurant with a beautiful view towards the City. Our mains arrived quickly and my chicken was succulent and perfectly cooked. I'm excited about going back again soon!

7th September 2010 Went for my birthday, on the 8th of May- with a party of about 35 people. We had booked the downstairs courtyard area from 8.30pm.
That morning I called the lovely lady I had been dealing with from the start- to let her know we will get late, about a hour or so.
(I had mentioned to her this might be the case, when we went and made the reservation- about 2weeks prior )
Showed up just after 9.30 and we were met by a different lady (who claimed to be the sister of the person I was initially dealing with) who was very rude to us.
She told us that we were late and we will not be served anymore. I told her about having informed about the delay but she was not interested in listening. We were about to walk out of the restaurant when the first mentioned lady came and apologized for her sister.
Good food, Nice place- would have been a great night if it wasn't ruined by the rude woman.

23rd August 2010 I give it 2.5 stars. It would of been 4 stars like usual because the food was great, but they now have a rude, lying, manager that spoils the whole night.
I went for my birthday, around 30 people, we were told that it was 1 main per person no exception. In the past you have been able to share a main, the large pizzas are huge. She proceeded to tell me she told the person that booked, which was me and she didn't mention it, she got very agrumentive when I disagreed with her about being told.

19th July 2010 We've eaten here three times now over the last few months, the food has been consistently good every time. The atmosphere is quite upmarket yet the prices are not: $20-22 for a main. We'll definitely continue coming back.

15th July 2010 Had a few takeaways from here - seems a more upmarket kebab place! Food always fresh and of good quality, neatly presented. Whilst waiting for our food, Jaan always has a good atmosphere with friendly staff. Keen to dine in soon and try something else from their menu...
