14th November 2011 My husband and I went for brunch yesterday morning. What a great atmosphere- there was a young girl playing soft background music and some people having high tea. We both really enjoyed our breakfast - I would highly recommend the omelette with feta, mushroom and red onion. My husband was really impressed with the big breakfast - his eggs were cooked to perfection and the coffee was beautiful too.I would totally recommend going to Abode and will be visiting again soon.

18th October 2011 Fabulous ripe coffee made to perfection (and I have to admit I am difficult to please in the coffee department!) Staff are very friendly and service great! Had a yummy ficelle and coffee the other day, very reasonably priced while my son played in the abode playhouse. Have been many times now and certainly have not experienced anything like the last reviewer. Will definitely be going back and would recommend highly to anyone.

17th October 2011 Probably the worst service ever experienced in a Wgtn cafe -would recommend avoiding. Ordered & paid for food - sometime later get told that item unavailable - replaced it with another lower priced menu item - no refund of difference. Obviously wanted customers moved quickly - was still drinking my coffee, saucer was whipped away as I lifted the cup to take a sip! Other plates taken as fork still half way to mouth!
As leaving noticed the outdoor tables where customers with dogs were sitting as dogs ate from the cafe plates on the table - staff didn't blink an eye - not really happy eating off the same plates as animals eat off so will not be returning. Although I like Ripe coffee it was very badly made at Abode.

17th November 2010 Certainly improved alot since the take over of new owners. The change of barista has certainly made a huge impact and I'm loving the food... especially the rissoto cakes... simply beautiful : )
