6th May 2013 My favourite venue. Love the fact that there is always something new and delicious in the counter cabinet. The coffee is great and service good. Favourite breakfast food has to be the mushroom stack. Lunch - definitely the fresh salads. I am addicted. Never been disappointed & that's why I keep coming back. Thanks Seven!
Seven Cafe, located on the corner of Riccarton Road, is open from 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday and 8:30am to 5:00pm on Saturday and Sunday.
An extensive range of menu options covering breakfast, brunch and lunch can be had at Seven Cafe.
It is suitable for business meetings and private functions and also offers an out catering service and a children's menu.
Seven Cafe is licensed, but does not offer a BYO option. It caters to diners with dietary restrictions including vegetarian and gluten-free. The cafe also has a beautiful outdoor courtyard with extensive seating.
In addition to its large and varied menu, Seven Cafe provides cook books, magazines, periodicals and newspapers for its guests to peruse.

22nd March 2011 We stopped for a quick late lunch here and were immediately greeted at the counter and offered menus or the chance to look at the great display of counter food. We chose some delicious chicken baguette-style sandwiches from there and a salad and some fries to share. The food was quickly delivered with good coffee despite it being still busy. The service was friendly and efficient. Food was great - excellent moist chicken - generously sliced and great fresh flavours from the dressing. Will definitely return as the other food from the menu going out around us was of an equally high standard. A cut above the normal cafe fare in good surroundings. Only snag is don't want it to become too popular!! as unfortunately with so many cafes victims of the earthquake Seven is sure to become even busier.
