The Gambler fishing charters operates out of the Bay of Plenty port of Whakatane, New Zealand and offers a total package of fishing and accommodation which will give you a homely atmosphere and great fishing. Not many fishing areas in the world can boast a live active Volcano (White Island) within 25 miles of their home port (Whakatane). Awesome fishing with a wonderful close up view of the Island. It is a unique and memorable day on the water.

Mick, the skipper, has had fishing experience of 45 years and has been charter fishing in the Bay of Plenty for over 10 years. He holds a current Commercial Launch Masters Ticket.

We can provide a total package of fishing and accommodation which will give you a homely atmosphere and great fishing.
