We are situated at 565 Blockhouse Bay Road opposite the Blockhouse Bay Plunket.
All of our food is made on the premise, we use free range eggs in our ingredients.
We have a selection of meals for people who are vegetarian or are gluten free.
Lovely open surrounding and staff who will look after your needs.
26th August 2013 Very Rubbish customer service...Never ever stepping in the cafe again. The service we received was apparently from the owner who thinks he is a king of Barista. We just humbly requested that the cafe didn't taste as usual and tasted very bitter and burnt (we not barista but chef and we definitely know when our coffee is burnt) This happened twice at 2 different occassion by the same barista (owner). THe coffee came back same so we decided not to drink it withouit complaining and we get told off for that. We get told next time go to the cafe up the road and we not customers any more.....right we will do that and better change your attitude else loose your regular customers like 4 of us. Definitely not stepping into your cafe and wqill not recommend anyone aswell..

29th February 2012 Staff are inviting and friendly, the food is lovely, and the coffee is fantastic! Thanks to the team at The Bay Cafe for brunch this morning, was thoroughly enjoyable! : )

13th February 2012 I went to barefoot for lunch on sunday with my two kids and my mum. The food was fantastic, well-presented and reasonably priced too. The coffee was also very good; they mean it when they say it's the best in the bay! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and when my youngest started getting a bit whingey one of the waitresses happily chatted away to him, gave him some marshmellows and showed him over to the toys. Looks like barefoot has just found a new regular :)

11th October 2010 as a daytime cafe we find Barefoot a great stop for a leisurely breakfast or late lunch. It has a great menu covering lots of good yummy food - I highly recommend the eggs benedict.
This place has a great selection, good bar, good enironment for children & adulta alike and of course good coffee. The service is usually very good and the seating outdoors is nice in summer.

30th September 2010 Fantastic cafe! The staff is friendly and accommodating, the food and coffees are excellent, and they're open in the evenings for that after dinner drink.
