My partner and I went to DAIKOKU Last night. It is very entertaining and would go again. The chef cooking yor food does lots of tricks and makes you laugh.

Really nice food! Excellent meal, interesting to see the chef cook your food. Not the best place if you want to have deep conversations, but definitely a good night out! (They have cheaper lunch sets too!)

i absolutely love daikoku i am a regular, i have had many birthdays,sunday lunch and just been there on a regular basis!the lunch special is the best u get a soup a delisious salad, a meal and ice cream!for i think $13.90 or very close. u get so full and u have a selcection of chicken,fish or steak. make sure u ask for lots of yumyum sauce caz its mind blowing!!!!!!!!the chiefs are very talentd and very entertaining and very very friendly its great for the whole family and they are so accomadating.if you havent been here you are missing out

Great way to celebrate a birthday,thoroughly enjoyed by all. Not only was the food superb but the chefs entertained our children!!! Brilliant.

If you are looking for an entertaining night out head to Daikoku in Takapuna. Great for groups and/our couples. They have excellent lunch specials. Very entertaining and delicious food.

Excellent resturant, by far my favourite branch of Daikoku in Auckland also. Fantastic specials menu if you get there before 6.30pm. The prawns with Yum Yum Sauce are seriously amazing ! You HAVE to try Daikoku, you're really missing out on a great dining experience if you don't.

I went here for a family birthday celebration - the service was great. What an entertaining way to have dinner! Very funny to have food flying all over the place - trying to catch it in your mouth was amusing. I don't eat much Japanese food and was pleasantly suprised about how much was on offer - the prawns were excellent. Very highly recommended.

I love going to Diakoku in Takapuna because it's a really social and fun dinning experience. Their lunch specials are so cheap and your chef's hands are lightening quick, chopping and cooking the food. Feel the heat of the flames right in front of you. Make sure you get the fried rice and see if you can catch the food in your mouth!

Awesome Teppan Yaki restaurant. I always order the chicken and prawns combo. The prawns with yum yum sauce are out of this world!. Very entertaining dining experience. The chefs are on form and ensure have a good laugh.

I probably go to this place every few months, and guaranteed every time we have a visitor from overseas or SI. I dunno about the weekdays, but the weekend lunches (3 courses no less!) are CHEAP AS CHIPS!! You'd be crazy not to check this top value AND highly entertaining spot out. P.S. Order the Fried Rice sides and you'll understand what I mean by 'Entertaining'.

this restaurant is amazing. great place to go for special occasions an exhilarating Teppan Yaki experience. I went here for a birthday party last year it was fun watching the chef flip the food onto our plates and catching the salt shakers in his hat. staff are friendly and the food is top notch.
