We recently contacted Dave to have a 3 seat and 2 seat pair of couches re-upholstered having passed his place and noted the contact details - Dave visited, gave a fair quote and arranged uplifting of the items, including cushions. He also recommended a fabric supplier. On the date agreed the items were uplifted and returned as arranged. We are most impressed with the workmanship, attention to detail and the friendly service he supplied. We will be recommending B & D Upholstery to friends and family. Thanks. Tony and Mary-Anne

I have recently been renovating a retro caravan and needed the squabs and backrest completely replaced. Dave from B & D Upholstery has done a fantastic job and I am very happy with the outcome. He replied to my initial email enquiry on the same day, answered all of my questions and sent a very cost-effective and detailed quote. He was also readily available to communicate with via phone and saved me a great deal of time. Dave was very helpful in regards to my budget, while still managing to produce a high quality product. I thoroughly recommend B & D Upholstery to anyone without hesitation. Thank you Dave.

We are very happy with the work B & D have done for us. They re-covered two couches and made a cushion, all to a very high standard. Good workmanship, price, communication and timeliness. Overall, great service from a hardworking craftsman! We will be back.

I found Dave at B&D Upholstery via www.finda.co.nz and found him extremely friendly, responsive and helpful. He recovered a window seat squab for us within a week, was really reasonably priced and the quality is great. We're really happy with what he did for us and would definitely use B&D Upholstery again. Dave at B&D upholstery just recovered an ottoman we were given as a wedding present 10 years ago. The work is beautiful, the service and advice were great and the price was very reasonable. I'm saving to have the dining room chairs done now and will definitely go back to Dave. Go ahead and use this business, you won't be disappointed.

Was so upset as our puppy had chewed my leather cushions to our sofa, I phoned Dave upset and what a lovely man to deal with, and so cheap, I couldn't believe it, I was expecting to pay much more. Don't bother going anywhere else, Dave's workmanship is excellent and you don't get charged an arm and a leg for his efforts. Thanks Dave. Annie (One very happy customer)

Dave was great. Quick to respond to my request for a quote and went out of his way to make things easy for us. I'm so pleased we chose to reupholster rather than bin our ratty old sofas as they look better than new. Fantastic job.

BD Upholstery were fantastic to deal with. All our contact was by phone and email and Dave was very prompt at replying to any queries or questions I had. They were very accommodating, the price was great and the workmanship spot on. Have no worries giving them a 5 star recommendation!!

Totally recommend B&D they restored the $26 shell of a couch I found on trademe back into the wonderful chesterfield couch that is now. It looks gorgeous. Dave is honest,. great to deal with and reliable. When I find my next piece of furniture to restore I will be going straight back to Dave at B&D.

The re-upholstery job B&D recently carried out on our old but comfortable sofa is fantastic - it looks better than when we bought it 10 years ago! The service we received was equally brilliant - from Dave's first visit to our home with a fabric sample that exactly fitted the desciption I gave him on the phone to the final delivery of our completed sofa and extra cushion covers. I will definately use the company again and will recommend them to anyone wanting to give new life to old furnishings.

B & D was recommended to me by another upholsterer when he saw that my antique chairs would require a craftsman who would enjoy and take pride in a complicated job. I am thrilled with my chairs, they are perfection and exactly what I wanted. The service and value for money is excellent. Pick up and delivery were never too much trouble.
