I once went with a large group of people and had to wait for a long time while watching others eat. Mine only turned up when my colleagues are about to finish. Apology offered, but not sincere. That was a rather disappoiting experience. So won't be going back again!

7th September 2010 Generally good quality food, and sitting in an open space cramped restaurant actually makes you feel like you are eating in the Orient...which can be either a postive or a negative, depending on how you look at it...;)
Wagamama does the basics of asian cuisine well, and keeps things quite simple. My only real complaint is that they don't include enough meat in their dishes, especially the noodles. I wolfed down my meal, and then ordered some meat skewers in addition just so I could feel like I had enough protein... ;)
My wife assured me that the meat was plenty for most people, but I'm still skeptical.
Taste-wise, no complaints and worth the visit if you like asian food and want to get a meal on the run, but don't go to Wagamama if you have a hearty appetite and are in the mood for a solid piece of steak...or if you want a relaxing and romantic atmosphere ;)

16th July 2010 I was expecting a nice interesting healthy meal (like my experience in London) but was a little let down. The rice/egg/vege dish was very oily and had little flavour. Not so keen on going back, but the Christchurch branch was fantastic by comparison.

16th July 2010 Really dissspointed with this restaurant.Had to wait for ages (it was busy so thought that was a good sign? - not!) The wine turned up after our meal arrived.They had run out of glasses so were busy cleaning glasses with a used T towel and we sent them back as they were still dirty - even had lipstck marks. Not good. Wouldnt go back. Food was only average as well

5th July 2010 If you’re impressed with the London offering then this will disappoint. The food is not particularly spicy and neither is the service.
Be warned that the “Late” opening advertised may happen at the weekend, but during the week, I’ve been turned away even before 9:30pm as there was only two other people in there.
Once you do get in there and manage to order, the arrival of the food certainly isn’t speedy, that’s if it turns up at all.
All in all not one to pin your hopes on or get your taste buds excited over I’m afraid.
