Had a recent exam and got glasses from them.Great service and excellent results, best vision I think iv ever had with my glasses. Prices were also very reasonable, with a large selection. I figured that instead of spending the same amount at spec savers or somewhere cheap, might as we get something different for the same price. Would recommend to others.

Auckland Optometrists are simply terrible. When I bought the glasses the lenses werent properly fixed into the frames. They incorrectly diagnosed me and prscribed the incorrect power which wouldve worsen my eyes had I not been to Specsavers and found out. After 4-5 trips back and forth of the glasses they put the lenses along the frame rather than inside the frame saying this is "the tolerance". The glasses that I received back after the last time had a scratch on them and they are not taking any responsibility to fix this problem. Their after care customer service was riduculous. They are completely denying a refund or a replacement for the glasses. I would not recommend anyone to use Auckland Optometrists at all as this is a matter of your eye, being the most important part of the body.

The Symmonds Street branch is extremely unreliable when it comes to aftercare service. I decided to make them my Optometrist of choice after purchasing a discount voucher from the internet. All went well with that transaction. The second time I contacted them was to obtain contact lenses. They were going to order it for me. A month later and still no contact lenses. I left a few messages and when I asked them for my prescription so that I could go somewhere else, I was told that the optomotrist had my card and he has gone away on holiday. How weird and how bad is that????
