MyStays is a family-owned nationwide company, with a head office in Taupo and a team of Guest Experience Managers (also fondly known as GEMs) throughout the country who are absolute superstars when it comes to ensuring our holiday homes are taken care of. We are a local, committed team who love every part of New Zealand, just as much as you do.

We(TM)re also passionate about being Kiwi-owned, which means all profits are kept here, as well as offering business growth opportunities and incredible holiday experiences for New Zealanders.

We know a thing or two about short-stay accommodation. In fact, many of our clients would say we wrote the book on it. MyStays has evolved from Lakeside Accommodation, a local business operating in Taupo.

Founder of MyStays, Elle Knight, took ownership of Lakeside Accommodation in 2014 when it had just eight properties. Less than 10 years later, she has built a team of 30 staff who manage more than 70 properties around the Lake Taupo region.
