The course is based on a 21.1km circuit that will see participants starting at Milford Reserve before taking in the beautiful Takapuna, Narrow Neck, and Cheltenham Beaches before tackling the amazing 1km Tunnels Loop (you don(TM)t actually go through any tunnels) around Maungauika/Historic North Head.

This spectacular part of the course has been the showcase of the event since 2011 with Auckland(TM)s best views over the city and out into the Hauraki Gulf to Rangitoto Island. Maungauika/North Head Historic Reserve is Treaty of Waitangi redress land of Nga Mana Whenua o Tamaki Makaurau, being the 13 iwi/hap of Tmaki Makaurau.

There course features a mixture of road, beach, and grass trails, so there is a bit of something for everyone.
