Jane has been a trained Teacher since qualifying in 1982. She has worked in a number of schools from decile one to decile ten both in New Zealand and Australia.

Jane is a Mother of three grown sons one of whom is Dyslexic. At the time of diagnosis understanding the teaching strategies needed to enhance his learning were difficult to find. Hence Jane started working with him developing programmes specifically for his learning needs. Following on from this, requests came for Jane to work with other students requiring tutoring.

Jane has recently moved to the Bay of Plenty from Auckland where since 2001 she has been private tutoring in conjunction with teaching in the classroom. Jane has been working full time as a private Tutor since 2010 to meet the demand that arose for this work.
