We looked at a range of ECE centres before enrolling our 3 year old at Community Kindy. As an ECE teacher myself I had a list of criteria that I was working from. The teachers were friendly and welcoming to both myself and my daughter, I witnessed lots of positive teacher/ child and child/child interactions and was told about how they would extend her interests and learning.
My daughter settled happily and has grown in confidence and learned so much already in her time here. The teachers have also been very supportive of myself as a parent leaving my child and acknowledge how hard that can be for Mums to make this step
My husband and I are so happy with what they are offering our three year old that we have recently enrolled our two year old (a year ahead of our original plan) who happily told us after her first week about getting cuddles and painting, her two favourite things in the world.
We feel confident that our girls will leave Community kindy as 5 year olds well prepared for the next step of their learning journey at school.
