Appliance Rescue was founded in 2005 to keep up with the increasing demand for appliance repair. Brent Mitchell and Mary Hughes currently run the business (as of 2013) and continue to provide top quality appliance service and repair on the Kapiti Coast.

Brent is responsible for on-road servicing and all technical aspects of the company, while Mary takes control of administration. The team also consists of two office staff Freya Anderson and Jan-Marie Brown, who take care of bookings and customer service & technician Noel Winter,
