Welcome to Self Defence Hutt Valley.

Our main aim is for students and visitors to:

* develop self confidence
* enhance physical and mental fitness
* keep themselves safe in every day situations
* be able to respond quickly and positively to threats or risks of violence

Chon-Tu Kwon Hapkido Self-defence classes are conducted at three sites across the Hutt Valley. We offer both youth and adult classes, and encourage 'visitors' to become full time and progressive students.

This style relies on skilful technique, science and a warrior mind set. Learning starts from the very first interactive training session. We have anecdotal evidence of victims surviving bullying in play grounds, enroute to school and work, from lessons and skills learnt during our self-defence classes. This style is more commonly known as Combat Hapkido to distinguish from traditional Hapkido classes.
