14th June 2015 Disappointed with the service.
We purchased the Paris lounge suite (NZ made furniture) from PK Porirua. We understand that it will take 6-8 weeks to arrive.
After 10 weeks, there was no news about our couch from PK Porirua so we called the shop. The person stated that they investigate with the manufacturer and will get back to us, but they did not. They rang up once just mentioning that there are 2-3 customers who are back logged and will keep us posted. We never heard back since.
In the 13th week, we went back and requested a refund. We were utterly disappointed with the poor follow up leading to the 8th week. If they knew that this manufacturer had issues, they should have informed us. This is poor service.
We will never recommend PK furniture to anyone. Firstly, PK should provide progress update leading up to delivery. Secondly, PK as the vendor should keep us informed during the process - we should never need to chase PK for information. Ultimately, PK FAILED in PK's promise in delivering within 6-8 weeks.
