16th September 2013 I obtained a quote from Sevenseas and accepted it based on the information they provided and the fact that they could meet certain criteria we specifically asked for upon booking the shipment. In the days following the pick up of the boxes it became clear that there is an inconsistency in the information provided from agents.
I had to keep phoning to follow up on emails. They would request the same documents from us a number of times - even though it has been sent. In the end, the criteria we had asked for can not be met - but it is too late now - we have paid and they have our goods...we are now waiting and hoping it arrives safely,
I think it would be wise to get a representative in the country where the shipment is being sent from. I feel that perhaps the interpretation of questions are not the same between NZ and Malaysia - where all calls are processed.
It would be great if I could be informed on the status of my shipment seeing it has been collected and paid in full for over a month and at has not even left the country.
Note to all potential customers - make sure you get everything on email - you might be told one thing over the phone and the next day another person will tell you something else...
