The name Takanini Custom Fabrication says a lot about what we do, although custom fabrication is only one of the many services we have available here.

We work with steel, aluminium, stainless steel and many other materials and we can fabricate, modify or repair using any of these. Most products come from a custom design, based on what the customer wants. Some of the products that we make on a regular basis include handrails, balustrades, custom made fittings and brackets, as well as a range of automotive parts, including custom made ones " built to fit your vehicle. We also fit, fix and maintain a range of food-related machinery.

Key clients include Tegel Foods in Henderson, including installation, maintenance, commissioning and repairs on machinery, building fittings, safety rails and platforms, machinery modification and other general engineering. We have done work for the New Zealand Defence Force, including custom work on their new 4x4 vehicles.

Services we provide include sheet metal fabrication; cutting, folding, welding and forming, machining; turning and milling. We also have access to laser cutting and CNC machinery, to cater for bulk orders and custom cutting jobs.
