We offer fully inclusive car rental rates and key benefits include free 24 hour road side service, free pick-up and drop-off, free seats for children, and free AA Travel road atlas.
Our depot is located 1.1 km from the Airport itself, and we operate a complimentary shuttle service to and from Queenstown Airport.
Once you are ready to be collected from Queenstown Airport, please call the Queenstown office on our freephone number 0800 15 48 15. A representative will be sent to collect you in the Omega shuttle bus.
You will then be taken to our Queenstown depot 2 minutes away, where you will complete the documentation to uplift your vehicle.
When returning your vehicle please return to the airport depot and a representative will then take you to the terminal.

Great price, older car but very clean and went very well. Book on net from Australia and picked up in Queenstown. Very easy pick up & drop off where they drove us to Maui Depot to pick up motorhome.

shuttle service/courtesy bus to Queenstown airport worked well, which is important as the office is a 10 minute walk from airport. Car was perfect for us, a few minor marks on the body and a few kilometres on the clock did not detract from its functionality, safety or comfort, and served to keep the price very competitive. There was a minor intermittent fault with the driver's electric window, but the staff at the Christchurch city office did their best to, initially, resolve the problem by changing the car (not possible at the time), then seeking technical advise which confirmed it was a problem with the model, and that simply turning the car off then on resolved the problem. Overall, very satisfied by service, in particular the capacity to determine prices of out-of-hours pick ups and returns online, and the consequent arrangements. This was not the case with many competitors.

we did a last minute rental the night before after office hours and arrived the next morning on 9 am flight ,,,, there was an email confirmation when i arrived and we were picked up with in 2 minutes of our call,,,, their service was great and when we returned the car they just drove us straight to the airport in the car so the whole drop off was a 5 minute process and super easy. The price was 1/3 of everyone else that posted their rates on their sites, The only reason i have a 4 star vs a 5 was the car was older with a tape deck and there was no way to connect music up - and the brakes weren't great - but safe enough - however you get what you pay for :) i would just suggest you bring along a tape converter for your music and you'll be set... i would for sure be renting again with Omega if i am lucky enough to visit queenstown again! service and price value were 5 stars for sure

In spite of a small hicup over a one day extension of our hire period that was quickly sorted, the hire was excellent. The upgrade to a larger vehicle was much appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks Omega. Roy Keane.

We had a really great experience. The upgrade to a brand new Subaru Legacy was much appreciated - we were sad to give it back today! Quick and easy check in and return process, I think the whole thing took about 5 minutes, great service. Thanks Omega Queenstown!

Excellent value for money, very convenient if you are travelling from the airport - collection is only a 2 minute ride down the road. Cars are well maintained and run perfectly. Save yourself money and support a local business!

Hired a SUV from Omega in Queenstown for 9 days. Good condition of the car and prompt pick up & drop off from airport. Cheaper compared to other rentals from airport. Would definitely hire again when back in Queenstown

Booked a car from Queenstown airport. Price was great, there was no waiting around when they picked me up from the airport and returning the car was totally hassle free and quick. Car was exactly what I expected. I would definitely rebook with them.

We have rented from Omega 8years ago and liked the service and the quality of the car (Toyota) so much, that we decided to again rent at Omega this year (2012). We did rent again a Toyota at Christchurch Airport, did travel 3 weeks around teh South Island and did return the car at Queenstown Airport!!! Service was perfect and friendly. Opening hours are much better than with other rental companies and the price is fair. We can totally recommend Omega Rentals.

Very friendly staff, good car (upgraded even) at a good price and easy enough to organise. We did have to ring twice to get them to drop the car off but they were suitably apologetic.

Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience with Omega. Our flight was delayed from Akl and arrived aprox 4.45pm instead of 4.15pm. We dialled an 0800 number, the voicemail told us there office in town closed at 5.30pm, left several messages with no luck at all. The next day after they still tried to have us for 2 days rental (after it being reduced to a day & a half) & $78 out of pocket we walked into APEX rentals and hired a car from them! Note to OMEGA - sort out your 'Plan B' for delayed flights, return your phone messages & invest in some GOODWILL policies.

Great car rental company. We picked up our car from Christchurch Airport depot by using the car pick up service. The rental car was new, clean and ran very smoothly. We returned the car in Queenstown depot and again used the drop off service to the airport. The service staff was prompt, friendly and professional. Amazing service overall, great value and will definitely recommend to friends. Thank you!!
