The Carnivora diet replicates what a carnivore such as the grey wolf and the dog was designed to eat in nature. When a carnivore eats a herbivore such as a rabbit, deer, bird, mouse and even fish, they consume meat, fat, bone, organ meats and some green vegetation contained in the herbivore's digestive tract.

FACT 1: Dogs are Carnivores, not Omnivores, not Herbivores
Look into your dog's mouth. Those huge impressive teeth (or tiny, needle sharp teeth) are designed for grabbing, ripping, tearing, shredding and shearing meat and bone. They are not equipped with large flat molars for grinding up plant matter. Their molars are pointed and situated in a scissors bite (along with the rest of the their teeth) that powerfully disposes of meat, bone and hide.

FACT 2: Raw diets are safe
Dogs are not humans. They have a much shorter digestive system, which means food is processed quickly before harmful bacteria have a chance to multiply and cause problems. Carnivores have a very high level of acidity in their digestive system. This high acidity which allows dogs to process the nutrients in raw meat and bones is also hostile to bacteria. We've all seen dogs eat rubbish, rotten food, decomposing meat and sometimes other dog's faeces without any ill effects. Nature did not evolve carnivores to eat a diet that would kill them.
