17th October 2011 Lovely setting & the food is beautiful - have only tried brunch & lunch menus but have been very impressed. Every dish has been fresh with exceptional attention paid to flavours. Friendly staff & a great kids menu (with no nuggets & chips!) top off a great cafe experience.
The Tiki Lounge is a retro groovy caf bistro serving modern New Zealand " Aotearoa inspired food. It is set in Waiwhetu amongst art, studio and gallery spaces and is a great place to relax with alfresco dining. By day it offers friendly service with all day brunch, lunch and Havana coffee. The evening menu offers a tapa style small plates and long plates to share and a delicious menu of big plates (or mains) with classic puddings to finish.

6th February 2011 Excellent food, the best I've had in a long time - everything on my plate was delicious, there was nothing that was just along for the ride. Dinner selection was great - make sure you leave room for dessert though! I look forward to sampling the brunch & lunch menus. Nice, casual dining with friendly, helpful staff.
