10th October 2011 Cafe's that are part of a chain are not a unique and new experience. I went on a saturday morning and it was bustling, I think because of the location mostly to be honest. Still, it was warm and inviting.
The coffee is hot and well made, there is a nice selection of sweet and savoury, gourmet and classics in the case. There is a cooked breakfast menu, quite small with no surprises. They do a delicious eggs benedict on smoked salmon and they do buttery mushrooms on toast (you can get gluten free bread) so you can't go wrong really.
To summarise: It's a safe bet for something to eat or drink.
