Awesome. We recently had a family wedding at the Falls Cafe.
We had the ceremony out in the park and then returned to the cafe for a three course sit down meal. Alice and her team did an amazing job (the stuffed mushrooms were a hit)
I would recommend the cafe 100% for any intimate occasion in a truly beautiful setting.

A licensed cafe with Great food & drink to complement the amazing surrounds.

The Falls Cafe is set in the stunning McLaren Falls park just outside of Tauranga in the lower Kaimai ranges The perfect place to unwind and get away from the city without driving for hours!

A great selection of food is always available from freshly made cakes and slices to gourmet sandwiches and salads. And fresh bread made onsite!

Have enjoyed , meals on several occasions , and brought visitors with us.As it is winter now I checked the opening hours before bringing some out of town friends there for lunch.Unfortunately The Falls Cafe was closed .This was Wednesday 5 th May.I would like to suggest that if the opening hours have changed for seasonal reasons , could this be posted on your web site.Thank you. Look forward to coming there again , but not sure when you are open now. Jan

Well, lovely food and great service for a start...firstly about 15 of us turned up for a walk and they gave us directions of where to go when i asked, then asked if we would like a batch of muffins put on (as they only had a few things don't think they were expecting such a big group so early) if we were coming back to the cafe...(how nice)...they let us take out enough chairs for everyone out on the deck..they were very attentive staff..the scones were so yummy and moist, especially with the cream(the cream was so delicious) and jam, the toasted sandwiches were also very tasty, beautiful coffees...not burnt coffee beans like some cafes make them, some also had open steak sanwiches which was enjoyed too.. they went out of their way to make sure we were looked after...lovely spot also nice outside some picnic tables in the grass area...definately be back here again and will be even nicer in summer...
