24th March 2012 I recently had breakfast at Scooters because they advertise that they provide gluten free (GF) options. Even though I asked for 100% GF they served me with normal bread. After I had some of the bread I inquired, and then they confirmed that the bread was not GF. They claimed that they thought I only meant the hash browns must be 100% GF.
Although they said they were going to refund me for having made the mistake they did not. The manager clearly was not too bothered about the mistake and brushed it aside. Coeliacs beware - they do not take providing GF options seriously!!
