This modest looking restaurant served up the best Blue Cod meal that have had on my South Island holiday to date. Well priced, friendly service and a good wine list.

We went there to try it out but it was very pricey and we didnt want a big meal so we said we would have a starter and a desert and asked it that was OK, yes said the waitress but when it came to paying I was charged for a full meal and when asked I was told that if you get a starter for lunch it is classed as a full meal....why were we not told this when ordering? the food was not that good...wont be back!

I have been to this resturant twice ,enjoyed it each time .Meals are interesting and well cooked by a competent chef
