14th July 2010 Fantastic, food, fellowship and beer. Its the pride of the south and a great place to have a couple of quiets and tell a few yarns. Recommend it to anybody looking for a fun day/night out and of course a great place to watch the AB's WIN.
4th October 2010 Great value family restaurant. We've had a number of birthday dinners for a mixture of ages and we've always come away satisfied. Pricing's around average, food is good and service is up to the mark with many of the meals representing good value for money.

26th July 2010 At the very last minute we rang for a booking , and we were pleasantly surprised to be able to get a table at short notice.
We arrived and was pleasantly greeted by a courteous waitress.
She was very efficient and took our drink orders straight away , when she arrived with the drinks she patiently took our food orders.
The food arrived within an acceptable timeframe , my wifres order was slightly behind the other three , we did not notice the delay , however the manager approached us and apologized for the delay and offered a complimentary coffee , we were most impressed considering the delay was only 1-2 minutes and by the time we had sorted the kids meals out , my wifes meal had arrived.
The food was outstanding , and my wife who is extremly difficult to impress was blown away.
All in all it was an impressive display , and hard to fault , and we would definately dine there again.

6th July 2010 I would rate this the best of the speights ale house in Christchurch, the staff are wounderful and always helpful, the meals are huge and great value for money and there is a huge varity. it has a great lay out and great function room and a truly neat out door dinging. they always have neat promos on and things you can get involved in. all in all its a great place can go wrong here
