Murray Hancox has entertained audiences all around the world either as a solo Pianist/Singer/Entertainer or as a band member and has played on Cruise Ships throughout the Pacific and the Mediterranean.
Murray has toured with Cliff Richard, Boney M, Don McLean, Gerry & The Pacemakers and English comic Pam Ayres amongst many others.
He has toured the USA, NZ and Australia with Gray Bartlett and in 1992 whilst playing on the Gold Coast won the NRTV Queensland
~Sound of the Year award.
In 1974 Murray had the honour of playing for the Queen Mother in England.
Murray has also played at venues such as The L.A. Orange County Fair, the famous Palamino Club in Hollywood, Billy Bob's in Dallas, Beaver Run Resort in Colorado and in Japan, Thailand and in New Caledonia. Murray has also been a member of many New Zealand & Australian bands and was a member of Coup Detat.
Murray has played extensively as a solo entertainer and is seen regularly playing at venues such as Sky City and Ivories Lounge in Parnell (where he features in the duelling grand pianos show) and also plays for many Conference functions and private house parties.
Murray's repertoire is huge and consists of great songs from the 60's and 70's through to today featuring The Beatles, Billy Joel, Elton John, Ray Charles and everyone else in between.
