Artisan created Flamework Glass Beads and Wearable Works of Jewellery Art.
My beads are created in my small Christchurch studio, using the traditional method of lampworking -melting coloured rods of glass into items of beauty over an open flame.
The beads are then specifically treated to prevent thermal shock & breakage.
I'm happy to custom create either unique beads for designers, or to consult with a client to custom design an item of jewellery to their tastes.
Teaching & tuition at introductory/beginner beadmaking level is offered to those interested in learning this art.
I'm available on days to suit you for a full day one-to-one instruction. Materials are provided & annealing is included.
Printed materials are also supplied covering safety, contacts, suppliers & basic techniques.
Also available are batch annealing services for glass & firing of PMC pieces.
