Finstar Management Ltd

Cameron Loader and Craig Rathbone combined early in the new millennium to source manage and deliver commercial property development opportunities. They soon formed Finstar Management Limited and have subsequently been involved in developing a broad range of quality products across the office, industrial and retail property markets.

Finstar is now recognized as a leading commercial property development company having since 2001 completed more than 20 projects valued at over $200 million.

It has achieved this by bringing trade mark values to each project, namely

* Adopting a team approach, valuing the good people involved with the company and utilizing everyone's collective expertise
* the flexibility and efficiency arising from Finstar's personal service and attention
* being creative, and seeking to work through problems to the benefit of all
* fairness and integrity
* and most of all having fun

The team at Finstar believe in making a difference. This is perhaps best demonstrated by highlighting a few of Finstar achievements, including

* developing the first Bunnings Megastore in Australasia within a brownfield building;
* reconfiguring a dated South Auckland neighborhood shopping centre to provide the local community with a much needed communal facility;
* and notably being Auckland's most prolific developer of retail convenience centre's.

Finstar also recognizes the impact the building industry has on the environment and the need for participants such as developers to provide leadership in sustainable practices. To this end we now seek new developments to meet a minimum 4 Star green rating.

While Finstar's activities have primarily been focused in the upper part of the North Island it has maintained a strong working relationship with Wellington based Hodge Properties Limited, and is also closely associated with Orchard New Zealand Ltd, a significant Property Investment fund manager, partly owned by the Aus
