26th July 2015 I would recommend Anne and the team, I was using a small accountant as I thought they would give me personal service, yes they did but at a price........ the Xero conversion plus year end accounts cost me $19000, the next year they charged me around $9000..... quite high I thought. I started asking around and found that businesses of a similar size to mine were paying a lot less than I was. Anne and the team were recommended. They are great, I was given a quote for my year end accounts, substantially cheaper than what I was paying and I knew how much it was going to cost me, a huge help in the cash flow situation, no unexpected bills.
They took an interest in my company and looked at ways of increasing sales.
One of the things they did point out was as I was the only director, if any thing happened to me the bank accounts would be frozen, and it would be very difficult for the company to operate, so advised me to get another director on board. They also discussed succession planning, which hadn't occurred to me, but I have since started to implement this as it makes sense.
I have been very impressed with, the price, the service, and the advice.

24th September 2013 I would definitely NOT recommend this firm to anybody. I approached them as a UK citizen living in New Zealand who needed help filing my taxes as I was uneducated in the tax system for this country. It should have been a simple enough process with me providing information on my earnings and spendings and them both explaining the process and filing my taxes for me. Instead it has been nothing but frustration every step of the way and it has now been 5 months that I have been in communication with them. Their failings include not responding to communication, stating incorrect dates for the actual tax payment (so that I had to remind them of the correct date myself!) and sending my tax return and other documents to an incorrect address, despite me repeatedly telling them otherwise, on two occasions!
They did actually manage to file my taxes for me and everyone I interracted with face-to-face at the firm seemed very friendly and pleasant but apart from that I would say I found them utterly useless and felt like I did more work than they did throughout the whole process. I am completely dumbfounded how they can be so unorganised and inconsiderate to their clients. I chose their services as I thought them to be a small firm that would offer a dedicated service to their clients but found that to very much not be the case.
I have made my frustrations clear to them on a few occasions now, and if they had in any way tried to make amends for their failings I would not be writing this review right now. The most I got was a phone-call apologising for my mail being sent to the wrong address (after telling them three times of the correct address and waiting weeks to find out it had gone to the wrong place) and an offer to courier it over. This small offer of appeasement was soon nullified by them continuing to disappoint with their services in every way and then once again send mail to the same incorrect address! Unbelievable!!
