They provide a great service for a super price. The staff are really friendly and look after you all the way. I've always left with a great haircut and recommend this place to everyone looking for a quality hairdresser.

I specifically went here on the strength of these reviews and on the stylists assurance that she knew how to work with thick hair. She didn't. I persisted for months but wish I hadn't. I ended up with uneven lengths (inches different) and an unsuitable style. Eccentric and friendly yes, but that doesn't make up for the utter frustration of having a hideous hairstyle that will take 4 months to grow out of.

The haircut I got from here is awful. I have straight hair so it is really noticeable how weird the layers are. The hairdresser didn't seem very 'with it'. There also needs to be more lighting in the shop.

I too have curly hair and have been back twice now, Alaina and another girl I have completely forgotten the name of - sorry! They give a fantastic cut (the best i've had) and give lots of advice as well as checking with you during the cut to make sure you're happy and know exactly what is going on! Expect a really chatty, friendly and eccentric bunch - fab!! The price is now $50 for a womens cut (still a bargan) but bring cash for $5 off!!

ESQ is excellent! Paola works on my hair and she really listens to my instructions, plus she's also very knowledgable when it comes to hair-styling trends and I always end up with a truly edgy and cool cut for only $45! Please believe it! These ladies at ESQ are absolute legends, you truly get more than you bargain for! 5 stars for this darling salon.

Excellent place! Lovely atmosphere, very personal. Heidi did an amazing job of fixing a botched previous cut by another hairdresser. Great with curls, she got them sitting exactly right. She also kept me informed on what she was doing as she cut which was very reassuring. So awesome to pay only $45 for a great cut after paying $90 elsewhere and ending up with a mess to fix! I would totally recommend them, especially having chosen this salon on the above recommendations - they were right!

Really nice people and great hospitality. Quite an eccentric little salon, the hairdresser recommended a style and went all out on my hair, which is fine because I didn't have a particular style in mind. It's priced well - $45 for women which is well below the average rate these days.

Heidi is a wonderful hairdresser. I have curly hair, which most hairdressers are really crap at dealing with. Heidi is extremely knowledgeable, chatty and does a fantastic job! I don't know about the others but ask for Heidi! The place itself is unique and full fo current magazines.
